Built to Change How Nigerian Students Learn

CampusTutor is an AI study platform built specifically for Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and Colleges of Education. It understands your level, your semester, and the way your institution actually examines you.

Our Purpose

What Drives Us

Our Mission

Give every Nigerian tertiary student the kind of personalised academic support that has, until now, depended entirely on luck — which lecturer, which school, which connections.

Our Vision

Build a study platform that understands African tertiary education on its own terms, then take what we learn in Nigeria across the continent.

Our Story

Why We Built CampusTutor

CampusTutor started with a frustration most Nigerian students will recognise. The night before a paper, the WhatsApp group fills up with blurry photos of past questions, a handout someone scanned with their thumb in the frame, and three people asking the same question because the lecturer's office hours never quite worked out.

We kept asking why the support a student gets depends so much on who they happen to know, what their lecturer's mood is that week, or whether their school's library actually has the textbook on the recommended list. A 200-level student at a state university and an HND1 student at a polytechnic are on completely different syllabi with completely different grading conventions, and the existing study apps treat them the same.

So we built the platform we wished we had. One that knows the difference between university, polytechnic, and College of Education. One that grades a long-answer the way a Nigerian lecturer would, not the way a generic AI chatbot would. One that says "here's what to focus on next" instead of telling you what you got wrong.

That's still what CampusTutor is. A study companion built by Nigerians, for Nigerian tertiary education, that respects how much you already know and meets you where you actually are.

What We Offer

What makes CampusTutor different

The first three are why students stay. The rest are how they study day to day.

Knows your level

Tell CampusTutor whether you're 200-level at a university, ND1 at a polytechnic, or NCE2 at a College of Education. Every explanation, question, and recommendation adjusts to your syllabus and semester.

Adaptive practice

Questions get harder as you improve and easier when you're struggling. The platform tracks how stable your understanding of each topic is, not just whether you got the last question right.

Honest AI grading

Long and short answers are graded with a rubric, double-passed for confidence, and flagged for integrity concerns. You see exactly where marks were earned and where they were not.

GPA forecasting

A six-factor model combining your mastery, structured answer averages, adaptive ability, and practice consistency to project your semester GPA. Know where you stand before results drop.

AI tutor

Ask anything about your course and get step-by-step explanations grounded in your curriculum. The tutor acknowledges what you already know before adding to it.

Exam practice

Drill past questions and full mock exams with adaptive difficulty. The platform shifts question selection mid-exam based on how you're actually doing.

Document intelligence

Upload lecture notes, handouts, and slides. The AI extracts key concepts, generates summaries, and surfaces the topics most likely to appear in your exam.

Project Lab

AI-assisted project planning, research structuring, and citation management for final-year work and academic projects.

Essay coach

Real-time feedback on clarity, structure, argument quality, and academic tone for any essay or written assignment.

What We Stand For

Three principles, no filler

Student-first

Every product decision starts with one question: does this genuinely help a Nigerian student in front of a paper they need to pass? If not, it does not ship.

Accessibility

Quality study support should not depend on which school you attend, which lecturer likes you, or which textbook the library happens to stock. We price and design accordingly.

Integrity in grading

We refuse to use language that calls students "weak" or tells them what they "got wrong". The AI grades fairly, flags its own uncertainty, and explains itself.
